Hi everyone i just wanted to let everyone know that is interested in playing fear at the lan tomorrow. a 1.07 patch has been released today and I am currently upgrading the server to that patch now. Please note that you need to upgrade your game to 1.07 as well to play on the server.

Oh, and I'm guessing its a result from the free multiplayer FEAR coming out today. Which, according to www.joinfear.com 's countdown timer, is... in 14 mins and 18 seconds.
EDIT: Was looking around the FEAR forums, since my timer was up and still no download. Apparently, they set the timer to coincide with your own personal windows desktop timer. So some people has theirs already expire, while others have over 1 day left. Sigh..

There will be a few F.E.A.R. Combat DVDs @ the LAN. if you can't dl it, just register it and install it at the LAN.

I'm a little confused about this F.E.A.R combat stuff. I have F.E.A.R bought and installed.. So all I need to do is get the patch and im good to go right?

I am downloading the free version now, I'll try it out at the lan if other folks are playing.

Someone should download it and make it available. Especially for us modem users who don't have all week to download it (like me). The file is 1.8GB after all. If someone does get it then please upload it to my ftp server at the party. Then I will update the server listing with the item for everyone else to get.

Yes, I am downloading this to the patch server tonight, both the FEAR Combat installer and the 1.07 patch. These will be available at the LAN on patches.fites.lan for download.

No...
F.E.A.R. Combat is the complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. and includes all the updates, additional official maps and additional official game modes all in one downloadable file. F.E.A.R. Combat users will be able to play against the owners of the retail version of F.E.A.R. as well as the other F.E.A.R. Combat users.
