With regards to dedicated servers and organized tourneys and prizes/sponsors? Or is it a different format? I'm excited to see its a 24 hr one.

Umm yes an no.

Not as much work goes into our monthly lans, since we have them every 6-8 weeks. THere will be dedicated servers, yes. Maybe a few prizes, but nothing major like the 100 man lan. Its basically just pure gaming, not so much of an event like the 100 man lan.

Also, there wont be tourneys like that at the 100 man lan. These are more pick up games... which, in my opinion, is more fun!

monthly lans are a great time. lots of non-tournament oriented gaming.

There is usually a period of time dedicated to one game. About 3 to 4 hours. The first two hours are open play free for all, and the last two are a side vs side (we have two rooms that we occupy). Works out pretty good.
