This Friday (and perhaps Saturday) night at 9pm Eastern, FITES will be playing some Dirt 2 (FITES Style, of course). Be read on Teamspeak (ts.fites.net) at 9pm for the fun.

If you don't have the game installed, don't wait until the last minute as it's several gigs.

RSVP in this thread!

We ever figure out what the deal was with hosting and some people not being able to join?

With the way FITES plays dirt2 I'm surprised no one has latched onto the burnout series: http://store.steampowered.com/app/24740/ (http://store.steampowered.com/app/24740/)

I can't wait for someone to release another modern vehicular combat game like interstate 76.

This right here!  I tried to get that and I'82 running but never could.  May have to try in a VM if win 98.

Tibbs posted something about the guy from Twisted metal hooking up with someone else to make one. Hoping its more interstate 76/82 and less twisted metal but still.

I tried getting them to run a few times but every machine I tried it on, it ended up doing really weird things to my graphics drivers. I am talking system restore required kind of weird.

Last one I really enjoyed was Vigilante 8 but that lacked a lot of customization that I loved about the interstate series

URL SNIPPED

I did a Win 98 VM and ran Grand Theft Auto on it without a problem.  Was kind of cool.

I purchased Burnout during one of the recent sales.  Also just purchased Flatout and Flatout:UC.

I am interested to see what kind of packages you can buy from the kickstarter.

We really should play Flatout: Ultimate Carnage.  It's cheap, it's waay more fun than Dirt 2 (at least the way we play) and it's a pretty good looking game considering it's 5 years old.

I am trying to get more people to buy this game or install it if they already have it.  It uses GFWL so a steam version is not necessary.
