A while ago I started reading comics more and more and I eventually stumbled across a ton of Deadpool comics, which included Cable & Deadpool, Deadpool: Suicide Kings and random comic appearances. DP quickly became my favorite character EVER (screw Wolvie!!! j/k) and as such I'd like to confirm, as a few of you have probably heard, that a Deadpool movie very well may happen! To those who didn't know.... well, now you know and in this case... knowing is 3/4 the battle. The other quarter is paying for the movie ticket.

I found a few things today which pretty much all but confirm that it's going to happen. After his pre-comic look in Wolverine: Origins, the fans started to demand the Merc with a Mouth show up on the big screen as his penchant for humor AND action is 2nd-to-none.

- On the 23rd, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld posted several updates on his twitter about a Deadpool movie development meeting he was attending. Here are a few lines from the deadpoolbugle.com webpage.

Clarification, Cable definitely NOT in Deadpool movie, but possible role in future X-films....not First Class.   

Donner Company is on top of making the Deadpool movie that fans want. They get it. He's funny, tortured, clever, a bastard and mucho action!

I, for one, am TOTALLY psyched for this.    I love Deadpool... just not love-love, because that would be creepy.

*edit - just found that DP movie should be a reboot of Deadpool and not tied into Wolvie:Origins.

Although Decepticon is technically correct, its like saying Bumble-Bee is a camero.  (just trying to make a comparison).

Deadpool is like the greatest wise cracking "super villain"... EVER.  I personally consider him more of a mercenary, kind of like a slightly less sane version punisher who can give Spider Man a run for his money with come backs and cut downs(which wasn't quite in the Spider-Man movie).

Yeah, I really never heard of deadpool until the wolverine movie.  Sorry my comparison was not up to par. I was not a X-Men comics kind of guy.  More into Punisher, Aliens Colonial Marines, Spawn and Pitt.
