Well, I don't know about you, but I've personally been preparing for the impending zombie invasion. One can't spend a lot of time on the interwebs participating in mindless banter when there are far more pressing matters to attend to.

I haven't had 'net for a few weeks now. I've been using McDonalds wifi to get online and check email and junk. I definitely can't play BC2 on my netbook. Once I get my living situation more solid, then I'm going to hook up with comcast and start playing again.

I just moved in to my place Saturday and am setting it up. I plan to be online this weekend to play. BC2 is #1 on my list of choice activities.

Why were you forced to downgrade?

I have been trying to get the upstairs ready for the twins to move in.

Can we start referring to them as the kids, or my boys or something.  ;P  The 'twins' sounds so.....odd.

I call my nads The Twins and when they collide together, it's The Clash of The Titans.

His ATI card doesn't work with his TV.

Not really. I bought this 32" tv in order to work with 16:9 resolutions and to have a 2nd monitor. I don't really need a better card than what I downgraded to for video work, and for me, that takes top priority over gaming. The ATI card I had has no HDMI ports on it. Apparently, the HDMI<->DVI handshaking problem has been around since '07 with ATI, and they haven't resolved it yet. When you plug it in, you just get a "no signal". The card recognizes there is a device plugged in, but doesn't feel like talking to it.

So using my old 8600GT now. Waiting for the prices to come down a bit on other cards to warrant an upgrade. I'm also selling my 4770 as well. Fantastic card for the price, though.
