Crysis Warhead
« on: September 18, 2008, 08:57:02 AM »
I just got crysis warhead through steam and it is better then crysis.  It does in fact run a good bit better too.  Im loving it although the multiplayer so far is a little dull im just waiting for the power struggle maps get a little fuller.  the deathmatch is a little played out although the maps are pretty nice.  even on my 8800gts 512 this game runs really smooth.

That is because this time around they fixed all the crap that made Crysis suck. Like the system requirements for instance.

Yeah I was disappointed with Warhead. Even at 1920X1200 with no AA or AF, and on enthusiast level. It still managed to chug along when things got busy.

that game isn't intended to run at that rez on todays graphics cards. at least not at acceptable framrates. drop that rez down to 1440X900 and that should fix ur problem

1024x768 all high settings (except motion blur), runs like butter, well above 30fps butter.
That's Mr. Deception to you.
