Is there any word on LAN tunes?

I remember having a PA system at several events pumping out gaming music.

Music is grrrrrreat!

Music will not be provided. We will have a PA system, but we got a lot of complaints about music last time. We will leave that up to the individuals

Turn it off for the tournaments, or don't leave it on. That's my opinion and take on it.

I need to hear where my opponent is, and I need to hear absolutely nothing but the gamesounds, and my teammates if it's a team game. Music isn't needed ;]

What he means by up to individuals is that they can play their own music for themselves through their headphones. No speakers are supposed to be in use for gaming.

my takes on tunes is that it is cool to have tunes pumping during the event, but lots of people take their headphones off for some relative quite while not gaming
