Title: CoD 2 Coming Out October 25th

Just wanted to start another thread about something of interest and hear what ya think. I figured I'd talk about the upcoming Call of Duty 2, which is to arrive in store October 25th. I'm on the fence of preordering it, but the screenshots look sweet. I'll post some up for ya. It's shadow and liighting is amazing (HL2 quality) and it's suppose to have a lot better physics. I haven't read much on the LAN/Online gameplay yet, but onew thing for sure, it's gonna be hardware intensive. From the looks of it, I would say a 2.2 @ min. requirements and a 6600 gt or equiv. graphics card. I'll go online and confirm those stats. Here's a link to some of the screenshots I googled online. Let me now what you've heard or what you think?

Let me know if your seeing the same thing I am... This is why I wonder about buying this game.

You mean the fact that they're wearing shorts? If that's what the soldiers wore in the African theatre then there's no reason to not have the soldiers in the game wear them. Other than that, I don't see anything that catches my eye.

i am a fan of CoD i will probably end up buying it... or you know the other option.... :wink:

That bump mapping is some of the best I've seen.  The original game had a fun single player to plow through, and the multi, mother of god, COD lan games are some of the most fun to be had on a PC.

This one's probably worth picking up.

I just downloaded the demo tonight and all i can say is it seems to be just like the last call of duty with better graphics.  Don't get me wrong cause i liked it but i wasn't super impressed.  I still think that BF2 is prettier and more fun to play but i think it is still a good game and I would be interested in playing it at future LANs

I'm glad someone picked up on it. The screenshot, the guy flipping looks like a Lancaster County Amish Guy. It''s the beard. I question the person who did these models...

I'm glad someone else saw it and it wasn't just me. The maps did look pretty nice and I did just realize that the demo is available to download. I'll have to pick it up I guess. All in all, there's nothing like a good ol fashion deathmatch with a sniper rifle and a pistol in CoD 2
