I go into every argument with the mentality of "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I will defend your right to say it." So don't take my arguing the wrong way by thinking I plan to shut you up. Just a disclaimer.
Post count has nothing to do with credibility, but it DOES however show how dedicated you are to the site.
I still highly disagree there. You can think what ever you want about that, but as much as it appears that way, it just isn't true. It's just psychological.
To me, my post count is a direct correlation to how dedicated I am to THIS SITE AND THIS GROUP ALONE! Others may think that is pointless, or I 'spend too much time on the interwebs' but I guess some of those people may be taking their dedication to FITES or this site - or any other boards they may be a part of and have a passion for - for granted. I don't.
If you take postcount personally, then I won't continue to press the issue against you. Even though this whole argument does still seem oddly reminiscent of religious debates.
All this coming from the person with second to highest postcount. I could care less about my postcount. All I want is to have fun and post funny videos. And maybe throw some extra spices into the mix with this newfangled 'shop'. I even suggested adding weapons to the shop like a redeemer and a flak cannon... if only you could get a script to randomly hide letters from a post that you use the flak cannon on for like an hour heh.
But all I'm saying is that sometimes the forums can get bland. We tried to add new things in to make it more fun. Sometimes our idea of fun offends other people, and others not. So if any of you value your life at all, don't decrease decpticons postcount! ROFL
