Quick heads up, BF3 and all of the xpacs are on sale until the 30th of april.  BF3 premium is 25 bucks, for those like me who just couldnt bring themselves to pay 50$ over again for a game I already owned...

I am fighting the urge to buy BF4. It is not a conscience thing, it is just that I hate origin so very very very much. It is only trumped by my general hatred of EA.

I haven't been able to get BF3 to work without crashing for a long time, so I just gave up on it. I will probably look into fixing that for the next LAN, but until then this franchise gets no more dinero from me.

I'll definitly get it when it goes on sale.  Something 50% off-ish.  Not a day 1 purchase and I'm not getting suckered into the Premium and expansions.  We rarely play them.  Not worth it at all in hindsight.

That being said.... Last night, first game I've played since the 250:

hmm I play the expansions in BF3.  probably more so then the original maps.  The only reason I do play the original maps is if I find a really low ping filled server running the originals.  Back to karkand is still my fav expansion.  BF4?...already ordered.

No kidding about EA...  The main reason I picked up premium is because I know that it will be rocked at lan.  Hard.
