It was a very enjoyable evening on Friday.  Even though we only had about 5 or 6 in for most of the night it was still fun to fly helis and just goof off on the server.

I have it in my favorite servers on Xfire.  when I am around I will check on the status of the server and if I see some people in I will jump in as well.  Or msg me on xfire and I will jump in if i can.

I'm planning on keeping it up perm. to go with CS:S and CoD4. Makes a nice addition to my dedicated server list. Have to do the BF2CC mod eventually to get rcon going but other than that I feel it ran pretty smooth (except for that brief 5 sec where I was online searching for console commands and made everyone lag out...sorry)

Hopefully we get some good use out of it (may even tear it down to lug with the lan unless Mark already has a BF2 configured...Has BF2 and CoD4 configured and ready to go). Let me know then when u get a chance mark if you feel you'll need it...

shotty as in bad? Do you have any recommendations then Dave on what to use to get Rcon. I'm really not sure why BF2 was so gay in not having a typical built in rcon password (least I'm pretty sure they dont, I even looked in the con admin files for it)

When i ran the tourney servers i used the reg old BF2 ded server that you can dload off the official website.  unless you need something from rcon I wouldn't use it.  But thats up to you and maybe they've released a better version since i ran those servers over a year ago.
