Hey buddy welcome to FITES!
I just recently built a comp with similar specs to yours. If you've ran 3Dmark05 I'd be curious to know what you scored.
My machine:
A64 3700+
MSI K8n-neo4
1gb TwinX
MSI 7800GT
200gig maxtor SATA hdd
Got a 6811 with the unregistered version, all settings standard. Plays every game I own at $$$ framerates with cranked graphics @ 1024.
Anyone else?

I got 7420 on mine.
I still have some tweaking to do on my rig.

Thanks for the welcome louber1115 !
I just installed 3dMark05 and ran it and got a result of 7368. I was nervous when I was running it as the last couple benchmarks were running very slow and I was getting about 3fps! I thought Holy Sh33p $h**, my graphics card is p00n3d as it's barely running!! But I was happy to see my score was quite good, heck my buddy Kona and I have almost identicl systems but he has his cpu overclocked majorly with his watercooling setup and I still pulled a score close to his! W(.)(.)T!!
I'm actually a little suprised at the difference between your score and mine, but I do have a few things that may be helping my score. I'm running 2 Gigs of very tight latency ram, my video card stock is overclocked to 454 on the gpu and 1.12 on the memory, and I run WD 10k rpm drives. Still benchmarks are nothing to live by, they are just a who's penis is bigger contest and your score is awesome! With our systems we should be able to play the most current games for a year or two full throddle! :10:

Do you really want yo go there?

Eeeeesh!.................nevermind................................ ;)

Well yeah you have the ram up on me, as well as the MSI 7800GT's are clocked lower from the factory (easily fixed according to Tom's) and I haven't done much to tweak my system into running better as i'm still getting it up to 100% (installing apps, games, etc.) a little at a time.
I'll post again if i can get an improvement over that score, but as of now it runs any game i need it to just fine. (graphics cranked of course)

and graphics performance is all that should matter bro! I don't spend about $1.5k a year to make a better benchmark, I do it for the eye candy for the latest games!
I'd say to pull off that heatsink and put on a layer of Artic Silv3r 5 then crank overclock the puppy if you wanna see what kind of numbers you can get from a benchmark, but then I'd move it down to about a 10% overclock on the clock and memory for stability...
