yes the camera angle is intended to up the creepiness <---not a real word?) but the distance to the right is to give you the ability to see your weapon which lets you know when you're running low on ammo since there is no HUD. also the camera is designed to follow closely to induce the claustrophobia that they wan you to feel since you are essentially trapped in ship with confining hallways and and not many wide open spaces. but that's just my opinion. either way I like it. except for when winderz decides it wants to reboot to install updates when I'm in the middle of a fight for my life.
