EDIT...so I signed up on the battlefield heroes site and it syas that they will send a key when a slot opens up.  SO is the beta live right now?  Also, I looked on Gamespot....there is no mention of the BF:H beta anywhere.

it took me all but 20 min to get a key install the game and begin playing.

Got my key from FP.  But now the bf:h activation page is acting all wonky.

Apparently, they are having issues with the EA registration and key tieing servers:

I got my key and got it tied to my EA account.  Now I just have to get home and load up the game.

Wow, I got my key tied to my account, but they must be getting hit hard as their servers have spotty connections at best.

You aren't the only one having that issue.  The forums say to try rebooting, update your flash player, etc.

Actually, I believe it's on their end.  Their reg/install servers must be getting hammered!  I just tried again and it DL'ed the EULA just fine.  I guess this is to be expected on the day they open the beta up to almost everyone.

Downloaded it and installed it and played it for a bit tonight.  Got to level 5 or so.  The annoying part is that if you are in a tank and you shoot asoldier it takes like 6 shots to kill them.  Seems like they have some balance issues to work out still.

I finally got my key. Apparently Friday they are giving away 60k keys that day alone. I got mine through Gamespot.
