I still have 285's in my rig... I never put the 5 series in due to the 590's blowing the Fudge up when you OC them...
Also, aside from loosing out on Dx11 the 285's OC'd on liquid still push a lot of games at decent frames at very high levels of graphics settings. Seriously, those cards were & are beasts.

heads up guys... EA completely Fudgeed me over on BF3 in regards to my name. Some puss Fudge with a god damned hotmail account and no real EA games apparently has my named locked down as his EA master ID. Worst part is the wet Vagina has it under an hotmail addy. Anyway, my BF3 name will not be BrokenShadow… the Fudgeing name I have been using for FPS shooters for over a God Damned Decade.


Anyway if your in BF3 look me up as BrokenNachtmahr

Sniper Rifles are under powered. 3 shots to kill some one is r-tarded when an smg firing full auto is also allowed to kill you in 3 rounds.

Were you playing on a hardcore server?  When I was running around as recon all of my shots were taking guys out with one mid to upper hit.  There were two instances where it took two or more shots and that was because I hit them in the legs both times.

Normal server (HC should have even more damage per shot done).

SV98 required 2 mid mass shots to kill. Even headshots through a glass window would require 2 shots. Only an unobstructed headshot with the SV98 would kill with a single shot.

Using the MK11 or SVD required 3 mid mass shots.

Regarding your Reco experience, are you talking about beta or the live version? The beta had a bug where moving targets took much greater damage. That made sniping feel more realistic as our rounds did what I feel is an expected amount of damage. The crap live now is complete and utter horse Crap.
