According to Dave, the pw to the caspian border servers is "videokilledtheradiostar". Dunno why they bother passwording it when all that happens is that someone leaks the pw anyway.
they must have changed the password 'cuz that doesn't work

EDIT: Derp! didn't see what Dave posted just above you, Agent.
yea something just broke in battlelog!  cant join any game and went to the forums and theres been 250 posts on the subject in about 5 minutes.

They are cycling the passwords anyway...

http://bf3blog.com/

Good spot to read up on recent developments.

I am hoping with the start of the open beta we will see Caspian servers unlock for free play of conquest.

The BF3 community manager on twitter posted that a beta patch was approved a few hours ago. So hopefully that will help me some with the crashing.

Well that is a truly epic fail. Nvidia released updated beta drivers today, alongside the beta patch. Got both updated, and somehow my performance got much worse. Not only does it still crash/freeze my computer, the control lag got 100x worse. It is now utterly impossible to kill (let alone shoot) anyone without a massive degree of luck.

Fudge you, DICE. Fudge you in your stupid asses.

Saw the disclaimer at the end.

"UPDATE: DICE has stated that these changes won’t be implemented in the beta, rather, they will be carried over to the full game. DICE is outlining what changes will be in the final game — the beta won’t be updated."

What. The. Hell. I know it's a beta and I know it's used for testing and feedback to see how/when/why a game needs to be improved before it's actually released, but you can't BETA TEST the changes without releasing them into the wild.

Good news... It looks like they will be putting in game squad management in. Now for the server browser...

"DICE’s Barrie Tingle has posted on the Battlelog forums where he revealed that squad management will be available in-game in Battlefield 3. Tingle said, in an answer to a question regarding squads:

“In short answer form, yes you can browse and join squads through the squad screen and make private squads.”

The new in-game squad management won’t be updated into the beta, but will be available in the final game. "

Well, that's good news. Love how they're not updating the beta, though. LOVE IT. Maybe they'll sneak in local networking ability into the final product and not tell anyone.
