I know me and 2 more who will sign up and post at my house.  Even though we aren't going to the LAN I know the twins will sign up and post their support.
Never, but never question the engineers judgement.

So as a suggestion to go with this potential massive invasion of the ea forums, assuming everyone actually does this, is that I think there should be a picture or two (or at least a link or two leading to some picture hosting website) taken during the event to prove that yes, 200 people all in one room want something to happen and it isn't just some dumb kid making tons of fake profiles to post something. I think saturday night would be best, because everyone would be there.

Setup a large group picture on the stairs outside the ballrooms? I'll make a large banner to hold up for the pic too.
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

YES. Once again, dinosaurs for the win!

Plus maybe a shot or two of the actual event room. Maybe seeing all those active computers and pointing out that "hey, these are people from VA, MD, PA and elsewhere that want to play your game with each other (lag free) in the same room" would do some good. I dunno.

Group photo with a banner + pictures of the LAN room are great ideas!

I'll be sure to bring my camera then, assuming there aren't any more experienced photogs among the FITES ranks. I've only had my DSLR since December.

The main problem is that at the moment, I only have a 50mm lens, which probably won't be wide enough to capture 200 people together unless I can stand REALLY far back. Hopefully we have a more experienced photographer with more gear than I have around here. or at least someone who can loan me a wide Canon lens.

It seems the room will be set up the same as last year, so 2-3 shots taken from a couple different points in the room should cover it.

I don't have a wide lens per se, but I do have some macro filters that may be of use....maybe.  And there will be a few of us with decent cameras and HD video cameras in attendance.

Oh my sweet zombie jesus. 9 feet long. That's awesome. We're really going to go through with this, right? I mean, I wrote down a note at work last night to bring the subject up today in this thread. Can we dedicate a slot of time on saturday to attack *ahem* i mean, politely browse the correct forums? At the very least, getting confirmation by going table to table to make sure that people have done it would be good as well.

And this banner, are we going to get 200 signatures on it and take a picture of it or somehow get a picture of all 200 people at the same time with it in front?

It would be completely awesome if this just happened to end up being a driving force behind the positive change that we all want.
