And what's with that douchebag renderedAmoeba? Clearly a consoler with PC envy ;)

Maybe it just takes a little time, but when I posted in the thread, it shows my post, but it never bumped the thread to the top of the page. Don't know what's going on there. Also, my post count still shows as 0. I'm being railroaded, I tell ya!
Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Another child on the enterbf3 forums that CLEARLY knows how things go down at lan parties thinks that they're useless and nobody is social at these "social events."

Oh, and I saw that, Sully. I helped a bro out though, and put in a bump and the thread was back on top right away. Dunno what's going on. Maybe EA already knows who you are (scary thought) and is conspiring against you?

Really testing my limits on the "no lan, no buy" stance. REAAALLLLY testing my limits. This is hot stuff. The game looks that good and runs that smooth on a solidly-built computer? GAH.

I mean, the debris from the explosions alone. I don't think I've seen anything that detailed up to this point in time. Then there's the lighting in the train. Then there's the destructive environment (wall) at the end of the video.

Oh, and watch it in 720.

Something neat to mention about the lighting. I remember posting a video of Geomeric's Real-time Radiosity preview a awhile back (like in 2005) and have been waiting forever for a game to come out with it built in. The wait is over. Battlefield 3 will be the first commercial game to release with a real-time radiosity lighting solution. In other words... BAD ASS!! I really hope this means that the days of baking in the lighting to the level are about to be phased out.

New vids right our of E3:

Supposed multiplay:
Battlefield 3: Operation Metro Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer (E3)

Tech Demo:
Battlefield 3: E3 Frostbite 2 Features Trailer (E3)

And a SP map called Thunder Run...Tanks....lots of tanks.
Battlefield 3: Thunder Run Tank Gameplay Trailer (E3)

While all of this looks damn good, I am with Sully on this one.  I'll wait till the hype wears off and purchase when there is a sale. Graphics are good, but they don't make a game.

That's Mr. Deception to you.
