Thank you, but this clan is more than just something I'm doing so I can be 1337 and kewl.
Well over a year ago, a met a man by the name of Jeremy when I became employed at CompUSA. He is also known as Damien_SLi here. We hit it off right away, finding common ground in both the way we approach computers and the way we approach life.
We became close friends rapidly, and soon began fueling each other's desires for computers, technology, and video games on a daily basis by overcoming challenges of failed hardware, work conflicts, and personal life drama.
We soon became gamers, upgrading each other's technology and getting into Battlefield 2. We also began supporting IT clients that didn't feel like dealing with major corporations or huge conglomerates like Best Buy's Geek Squad or the incompetent fools at the CompUSA Tech Shop. We took an interest in helping those out who were experiencing the same problems we've already conquered, and built multi-thousand dollar, quad core gaming servers long before dual cores were even thought of as a standard.
One day, on a day off, we were playing Battlefield 2 and decided to form a clan. We couldn't think of a name...we wanted something interesting, something that would make a Lone Wolf who was looking in the Squad List wonder what we were about.
Thus, the Xenobias were born.
Expanding on this concept, we formed Xenobia Tactical Solutions. This was what we called our little technology support service.
Since then, the clan has been modified to =AaT= (Adopt A Tech) due to our employment situation, but the squad name is always Xenobias. It's not about winning. It's not about being the best. The clan is based on the same principles that Damien_SLi and I originally got together to protect: teamwork and having fun.
This is Our clan.
