12 vs 12....fail.  That is unless they up that number for PC players.  I really am kind of disappointed that they went back to the WWII era when the FPS genre is flooded with them.  How about making a better 2142, or better yet, take it to a  more contemporary war.  Battlefield: Bad Company on the 360 (and PS3) is an excellent game and I would have LOVED to see a version or a sequel per se on the PC platform.

It does look good (I'll give it that) but to me it's a beefed up version of 1942.  And how many ports of Wake Island are there gonna be?  How about take us to different locations instead of the same stale locales.  One benefit from this iteration will be the mods.  Desert Combat 2009 anyone? (or whenever this releases)

I am thinking that 12v12 is for consoles. At least I hope it is. Decepticon you do know that there is a sequel to Bad Company in the works? And it is for PC.

They are from 1943. EA is just lazy I guess. Yes this is exactly how it will look like. *wink* *wink*

No one will know the difference.

Why not make an underwater war shooter where you have to swim around and shoot things instead! Cause that's like the only place we haven't all been virtually, with sharks attacking us while we try to cap the flag before our oxygen runs out... "AIM FOR THE TANK!"

They did do the underwater thing already. A game called AquaNox, in 2001. It was a pretty crappy game that was really only ever used for benchmarking because it was one of the first games to really utilize DX8.

there was also a game for the PS1 called forsaken, I think, and it was like twisted metal only under water, with submarines.

It wasn't under water.  It was in a space mine or something.

My visual in my head was a buncha scuba divers with harpoon guns chasing each other around.
