Awesome New Zombie Mod

The Mod is called DayZ and needs ARMA II: Combined Operations to work.

ZDay is a Multiplayer Online 3D FPS Zombie Survival game currently under development by Arrowhead Games.

Players are thrown into the centre of a post apocalyptic city after a deadly virus outbreak has occurred. Furor city, once inhabited by the human race, now is home to thousands of blood thirsty infected humans on the prowl for any remaining survivors. With the virus enhancing the physical abilities of the infected, players will be no match for them if playing alone. ZDay will require excellent team work, bravery and skill as players attempt to survive in the infected-filled city.

Players will have to work together to clear out buildings, search for supplies, barricade doorways and survive. Barricades can eventually be broken, so hiding in one building with just a few supplies will not turn out pretty in the end.

Let me know if anyone is interested in playing I have enjoyed it so far but would like to see some fites guys playing.

I've been attempting to play this, though actually getting into the servers takes FOREVER and I usually give up.

The first time is a bitch because it is creating your character.
Once you get in the first time it is fairly quick after that.
Also make sure you are up to date as he seems to update it
every few days due to popularity.

Ok i was very skeptical of this game/mod but i played saturday with fragout and haggard and I was hooked after about 20minutes.  we played for at least 3-4hours and it was a blast.  If you are new to this i would play with a friend at first to get aquainted with the dynamics and the inventory system because at first it is very confusing.  A little buggy here and there but nothing that I would consider terrible.

I was playing yesterday and got 38 zomboid kills and 1 murder while running all by myself.  Did you guys create a TS channel for this game?  We need a big group to run this as soloing is real tough!  I'm gonna be on tonight playing if anyone is down.

yea, I'm currently nowhere because I keep dying.  Maybe I can meet you guys.  I've picked up the map before but never get to keep it because of permadeath.

I keep this map open on my other monitor while im playing.  It would even be better if i had a compass that way i could constantly have an idea of where i am....
