Avengers

Amazing movie. Sure, little things could've been tweaked to make it better, but that could be said about a lot of movies that you'd otherwise give 9/10 or 9.5/10. Cap's suit just looks funky, but I'm sure they messed with all sorts of ideas on ways to make it work. Black Widow should have more of a Russian accent, but they wanted star power and dat ass for the big screen. Like I said, little things. As far as Marvel movies go, however, 11/10. Totally resets the bar for how good they should be. Everyone did their job as far as acting goes, even with tiny things like shaking or having a look on their face purely from being scared. I think Scarlett did a great job at some points (the interrogation of Loki, her scene with the Hulk) in getting looks across her face that were appropriate for the moment.

Dunno how/if things should be set under the spoiler tag because... well.... if you have any interest in the movie at all, then you know how it's going to turn out. But hey, I'll try.

Big fight, Hulk smash, Hulk punch giant mechanical organic space fish of doom in the nose, good guys win, the end. Thought the big bad guys would be the Skrull since they look all lizard-like, but nope. Nope. Someone I didn't even know about.

HOWEVER...... In the first of the two post-credit scenes....

 Well played Marvel, well played.

Go see this movie. Take your kids to see it. Take your girlfriend or wife, even if she's not crazy about comic book movies. It's just freaking worth it.

Oh, and needs more Deadpool. That is all.

Please just walk away. I don't want to have to stand here and say something so awesome that I'll have to remember it the rest of the day. Thank you!

Just saw it... Nerdgasm for me... Anyway Vin if you go back to our thread on Thor I mentioned in there about Chitauri... http://www.fites.net/general-discussion/thor!/msg65290/#msg65290    Most of the Marvel movies are coming from the Ultimate story lines for their plots which is where the Chitauri come from... I was surprised not to see any mention of Black Panther since he played a big part in the comics when it came to the Chitauri... But that is enough on that, I think I have embarrassed myself enough...

I vote that BP is gonna be in Avengers2. I mean with the new bad guy coming, the good guys are going to need some new weapons to fight them and what else than a supply made from the world's largest deposit of vibranium, which BP owns?

And if not, well.... poop.

Totally need someone to combine the sound of Ryu's Metsu-Shoryuken ultra combo from Street Fighter 4 and the part of the fight scene between Thor and Hulk where Thor uppercuts Hulk with Mjolnir.
