Hey Guys
Surfing around recently and found the new aol explorer toolbar. Now I hate AOL with a passion, but there new browser is actually really cool. Its nice because I haven't been massively attacked with popups with it at all. I guess not many popup techies have set their sites towards it yet. I usually run in Opera or Mozilla, but popups would constently start new tabs and stuff. I've been massively attacked and can't seem to get them away. In anycase, if you have any ideas of software which will take care of these pests, please let me know ASAP :feedback:
Going back to my original topic, aol explorer is a really nice web explorer to use. You can start new tabs like in Opera but you don't have to click everywhere. Reason being is that aol has a built in snapshot, so when you hoover over the tab, it gives a snapshot of the shot your viewing. Its pretty cool. Another thing thats nice is the gui. It offers a easy gui interface which is really cool. It also includes a built in pop up blocker which makes things nice. It also has a quick spyware check and a footprint clear, which erases all tracks u might leave. Its really nice in theory, but I haven't testes either. It offers a neat side nav bar as well which you can use to check mail, go to favorites or see live feeds. Whats nice is that you can edit all of these so if you wanna listen to feeds from a podcast or something, u can do it easy. Only other complaint is that it was built by aol. It would be neat to offer a configure on the mail tab so you could check mail service from gmail or yahoo or such. Anyway, no complaints of it so far. pretty neat service even if you hate AOL (which I typically do...only downloaded this from the aim triton upgrade). Check it out if you have a chance (be sure to set off the autostart crap through msconfig)

links? screenshots?
i'm happy with safari, it has the benifits of firefox, and it isn't getting stuff coded for it like firefox does (ala popups, etc)
that and it's good for browser testing (w00t khtml)

Ok I have some screens of AOL explore. Sorry but I didn't have time to resize them all, I just took em real quick. Anyway...Checkout the installation. It like a flash install which is pretty neat (I'm oogle for new prettier stuff)
Take notice if you press f8, it gives a screen of all the tabs you have open and what they are. Also, it has a built in aim so if you use aim, you don''t have to clicking back and furth. Its a pretty neat feature. Check it out. You can find the download link on AIM's frontpage site.

*I hope this works. I had to resize them all. Then I figured out that u can't upload directly to the board (gotta do something about this)
So I ended up putting up with my website which was a long lengthy process. In anycase...I hope this works. Sorry about the long loading period (I pitty anyone who attempts to load this page on dialup (Get Comcast :bravo: )

Ok, I don't know whats wrong but it won't load for me. If you enter the url in by itself, it works fine.
FYI...ACiD Radio is a online radio broadcast which i air almost regularly. I'm hoping to go to shoutcast, but I can't seem to figure out how to config the server. If anyone has used shoutcast, please let me know. I have a server configed and it says that shoutcast.winamp touched. I assume from readding up through the threads that my station has been registered. When I search for it through winamp 5, it doesn't appear (I know it only shows the first 50 stations, but if you do a search, it should appear) I broadcaste for 10 min and refresh and still see nothing. Anycase, I use radio destiny or Pirate Radio Network. I don't get as many hits but usually have about 20 listeners. If you ever wanna chime in, let me know. Later

By the way, I do try to connect via ip like any other stations, but my connection times out and it doesn't work. I'm trying to figure out how to do this. Another thing I tried to use is the windows media stream server, built into windows server 2003. I'd go with server 2003 if I could find out how to config for outside networks. I did get it to work however for an intranet or network stream. In anycase, I have nothing up on the website now but a redirect to pirate radio network. I'm working on a flash frontpage as we speek. I'll let you know what happens
