Anyone up for a FITES Biggest Loser contest?

FIRST WEIGH IN IS THIS FRIDAY (8/10)


Hai Gaise.

So listen, I got some pounds to lose. Perhaps others here do too. Would anyone be interested in a FITES Biggest Loser contest? Here's how it'll work.

  • Pony up $10 (you'll see why at the end)
  • We'll set a start date, week or two from now, and everyone'll weigh in.
  • Weekly weigh ins are on Fridays by 11:59pm (2359 hours)
  • After 8 weeks, the person with the most PERCENTAGE OF BODY WEIGHT LOST will win.  That way it's fair for everyone regardless of starting weight.
  • You'll win $10 x however many people are involved.

I'm thinking of using http://www.corporatefitnessleague.com as they have a nice system to record everything and all that for just this kinda thing.

If you want, we could do teams of 2-3 people so we can keep each other accountable and just split the money in the end.

Anyone down? This'll be open to anyone, spouses too.

I think it's a great idea, but I don't exactly have the weight to lose.

But as incentive I'll pitch in $10 to the pool anyway. And I'll offer advice on different exercise routines for those that need it.
