Title: Anyone interested in Angels Fall First?
Post by: decepticon on December 29, 2015, 11:23:04 AM
I know it's in Early Access but it looks like what Battlefront should have been:

Ground combat like Halo and Battlefield combined.  Vehicles and ground troops fighting alongside each other.

Space combat:  Take to the vacuum of space and fight alongside, in and against huge capital ships...and fighters and bombers too.

Network "code" looks like it needs some work but it is in EA.

Here's a decent and short review:    https://youtu.be/ehO1FbM6jTA (https://youtu.be/ehO1FbM6jTA)

Oh yeah, there's user hosted dedicated servers as well.  So there's that.

On sale for $13.49.

I'm interested. I've added it to my wishlist while I wait for the new job to actually give me a paycheck.

For those interested:  There IS a learning curve.  THere's a lot going on in this game.  Check out this guide for basics:

A game with a learning curve?! I am so in.

One of the things I really liked from DOTA 2, which is no where close to this game genre, is the learning curve. The skill level progresses ever upward. I'm really looking at this one.

Locked and loaded.  Ready to play it in March and earlier.  Can we plug this on the front news page and advertise it as local client hosted for the LAN?
