So valve released an update for portal the other day, the text for the patch was:

Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations

Now some people figured out if you took the radios and held them in special parts of the map Morris code and some squelching noise would come out.  Others just grabbed the .wav's from some folder called dino in the install folder.  The Morris code turned out to be a message and the squelching turned out to be SSTV images.  It sorta looked like portal 2 is coming out.  Then some folks saw some if the squelching didn't make images and on closer inspection it turns out its people from Half-Life chatting about stuff with the audio completely butchered.

  And then the second shoe dropped, another patch, this time it was for the achievement "Valuable object retrieval", this changed the end game, after GlaDOS is destroyed you are drug away by a robot.  GlaDOS is now running version 3.11, Gabe "Im too fat to release HL:EP3" is making a speech on 3/11.  Portal and HL have been in the same universe, I want Portal2 and Episode 3, and it looks like thats whats goin' down.  Orange box 2 anyone?

If they force us to buy another box set of games instead of just the two we want, THEN offer the two we want later, I'm going to be kind of irate.
