Title: About the LAN in October...

I need to know so I know what to buy this month and polish up on, heh.

Post by: sully! on September 05, 2007, 10:56:48 PM: Anything and everything is a possibility, but the mainstays for us in the past have been anything from the *42 series, Unreal Tournament 2004, and a mod for Counter-Strike that actually makes me not despise playing Counter-Strike called Zombie Mod. We've also been hitting up GRAW and FEAR a good bit lately. But pretty much anything is up for grabs depending on the general mood/consensus of the people there.

These are very relaxed, low-key, just for pure fun LAN's, so the whole thing is really flexible. Oh, we also usually have Guitar Hero or Wii Sports setup in another room for some non-PC, out of your seat gaming for a break. Either that, or "Hackball" out on the playground ;)

Post by: _!Rathe!_ on September 06, 2007, 12:47:37 PM: Since the LAN is held at Cuzznkev's Daycare there are lots of nice soft mats laying around and we usually end up just crashing on those. A sleeping bag and pillow may be a nice thing to bring along. You are welcome to crash in your truck if you would prefer though.
