Can create better looking Title Buttons!

Just create the PSD file in photoshop using layers, so that I can add text to create the different titles.

Why would you say that? If I liked the current ones, I wouldn't have asked to see new ideas. In fact... Sully sent me one and I REALLY like it!

I am currently leaning towards Sully's... he is tweaking it a bit to make it even better. I do like the idea of the bubble that AssNinja put out in his last thread... but I don't think it is as attention drawing as sully's is.

Me personally, I would adjust the colors of Sully's. Wrong orange and it looks outta place.
The one thing that I like about Shadohawks and AN's design is that include the trademark FITES rad symbol.
Altho, the hollowed out rad symbol on SH's design is real cool lookin.
Just my two cents (altho, being long winded, it mite b a dime).

I had him tweak the orange and gave him the correct hex code. Sully is also including the rad symbol on his.. he is taking pieces of what we already have an matching them to his button.. I love the glowing effect!

You can get a glowing effect by changing the color of the DROP SHADOW effect on the button layer. (Talking about mine.)

Yep....not to toot my own horn, but I think mine's pretty damn good (modest, I know).
I did tweak the orange color on my latest revision. The first draft I did not have the proper shade of orange, I just tried to eyeball it but my current version is a much closer match.
I'm too tired to upload them now. If pride doesn't post them Saturday I'll give you a preview here.
If I'm not allowed to vote for my own, then I like the first design that AssNinja posted (technically pride posted).
For now though, it's bed time.

But 1 problem I see, there is a slight border around the edge of each image. I can't figure out why it's there. I went back and reapplied the background color with the paint bucket and then just for the hell of it, used the paintbrush to go over the edges and it's still there.
Any suggestions?

I get that too sometimes
What I do is (once I resize) make a new backround layer and fill it then, if needed I go arround the edge with a 1px brush

yup, when you resize a graphic... you get that edge.. not sure why, but you do.

Hmmm....good idea. I resized in the "Save for Web" dialog. I'll resize first, then save for web and see if that fixes it.

Just out of curiosity which version of photoshop are you guys using? Mine only does that in CS2
