Here's a question for ya Pride. What is the advantage of getting a room? Would I need one?? I am asking this because this would be the first long distance LAN I will have attended (I usually drive 3 mins to get to the FithLan events)

Well... the event will start at 6-7 AM Saturday, and wrap up at about 7 PM Sunday.

Thats 36 hours that we are gaming. There will be a 6-8 hour period in the middle that will be nothing but open play... allowing people to get some sleep. I dont know many people who can go 36 hours without sleep... I know I sure cant.

A lot of people will probably get a room... either Friday night, Saturday night, or both.

The rooms are about $90 per night for a room with 2 double beds. If you drive in early Saturday morning, then stay in a room Saturday night... that is only 1 night.

Split between 4 guys, you can get the room for under $25 each. Hell, I'd pay $25 just for a shower on day 2 lol.

The shower was a big plus. Hmmmm, since it will be in August, ya think they'd let us use the pool?

EDIT: I just noticed the LAN will be on my 3-year FITES anniversary! Whoo hoo! Who's bringing the cake?
