Hey Im all for the LAN.  But im not gonna just suck it up and play console games because all the newer games that come out don't support lan play.  I can say without a doubt that i have gotten my moneysworth of gameplay from badco2 even though it doesnt support lan.  I envy all of you that stick to your guns on this subject.  Who knows maybe BF3 will surprise us all and release the lan support we all want so badly:)

To help coerce them into adding LAN play? I would love LAN play, and it pisses me off that it could potentially not have it, but personally, the lack of it is not a game killer. Why deny myself of a perfectly good game just because I can't play it on a LAN?

The lack of LAN play would be a game killer....... if all that extra crap that they listed wasn't going to be in the multiplayer aspect of the game. Jets, new squad features, more weapons and unlocks than BC2, WAKE ISLAND, pc version is the lead version, 64 player online matches, prone..... it all makes me go back and forth, but as of right now the pros outweigh the cons.

The cons being no mod tools and no announced LAN play.

I agree....the game does sound/look awesome.  I just don't get what the point of signing the banner or saying that we are not gonna support blah blah blah if yer just going to buy the game any way.  I will eventually purchase this game (if they do not include LAN dedicated servers) when the price drops to $30 or below, but they will not get my immediate support of $50-$60 if they don't include lanplay.

Jus' sayin'....
