It looks like the Dog Fighting Module of Starcitizen, officially called Arena Commander, could be coming to backers within 24 hours of this posting. Is is good news for backers that wanted to be in o this since a release date was initially announced, and then passed without the release of AC.

RSI has stated the game was not ready for a release yet placing them I a bind with their fans and backers. Backers have stated they paid for Alpha access knowing full well the game would be riddled with bugs.

RSI, on the other hand, knows they are tight scrutiny with any release as they get closer to the 2015 launch of the full game. In order to continue to have an influx of capital from backers it may have been prudent for RSI to delay the launch, but backers are still understandably miffed about the lack of communication for within RSI.

Here's a lot more to speculate on, but it would only be that; speculation. As for me, I plan on having my client running and waiting for updates tonight.

Which is true, but there are bound to be a hundred other game breaking bugs found when it's released. People continue to find game breaking bugs in even the most stable of released games.

And really, what better way to find your bugs than with how many thousands of Alpha testers?
