Recently there was a twitter  conversation going on between gamers and, relatively unkown until then, Adam Orth, Microsoft Studios creative director. Or, I guess I should say former creative director. It is unclear as to whether Orth left the company of his own accord, or he was pushed out the door. Either way he is no longer with the company.


While Microsoft was quick to distance itself from Orth's comments, they never came out and officially said anything in regards to the company's next generation console "always on-line" requirement.

The "always on-line" form of DRM has never been met well, whether it is Ubisoft or EA. Or the next person to try it out. Just promise me fellow gamers, that we'll never get too over zealous about our gaming. So nut job into it that we would rather name EA the worst company in America, two years in a row, instead of somebody that actually does harm to people.

Yet, the gaming community continues to buy from them. Somehow I think they start all board meetings by reading EA hashtag messages and laughing.

I haven't given them any money in a LONG time.

I refuse to purchase anything that requires a Microsoft Live account or Origin.
