Perhaps you already got the email, maybe you haven't checked your inbox over the gluttony holiday weekend. Either way, let it be known far and wide that FITES has opened up ticket sales for their annual February event!


FITES is once again teaming up with LANFest to get 250 gamers all in the same room; stink and all. Seriously, I will enforce bathing restrictions this year. I refuse to breathe in your recycled BO and let that "no shower for 48 hour" smell settle into my rig.

With the announcement out of the way let's get into a discussion about community and you, the gamer. We could use your help. Spread the word via social media. Like us on Facebook and spread around our upcoming posts about the LAN. More gamers = more fun, for everyone.

We would love to help you stream tournaments and games all while at the LAN. Our bandwidth is limited of course so we'll do what we can, but we can't make complete guarantees.

Is the hotel code still good?

Soooo I ordered my tix, picked the seats and.... the email I got doesn't have any QR code like before. Instead all I see is a waiver.pdf and some barcode with a number/letter code under it for each seat and each of those is different for every ticket. Do I just print that out and give it to you all at the door to scan?

Your answer pleases me.

^i just cancelled my original booking and booked through travelocity, but still got charged around the same rate ($200ish for both nights.) it seems that the 15% discount was applied BEFORE perhaps, which bumped the nightly rate down to the same rate aas the FITES discount? or am I missing something?

if i can't get the cheaper rate i'm going to cancel and re-book under the fites code, because i'm definitely not trying to bring down the number of rooms booked under your guys' code. im just a broke ass mofo looking for the cheapest rate =P
