Rockstar Games (http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/19341/grand-theft-auto-v-trailer-110211.html) has announced the coming of the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series, GTA:V. There are currently no details about what the game will entail, just the image you see below with a countdown timer until the release of the premier trailer. Check back soon for more info!

Thoughts? I never played San Andreas, does this look like a similar world to that, but much better graphics or does it look like something completely different? I've hear some people talking about the fact that there's countryside in the trailer. AFAIK there's never really been a GTA with anything but an urban setting so that would definitely be something new.

I believe Vinewood was one of the areas in GTASA. I do hope they bring back some things from the original games. Like buying property for instance. (GTAV, GTASA)

some "leaked" details.  take it with a grain of salt though as whtn IV came out there were alot of leaked details that never made it in.

they sound really cool though.

I hope they include a more robust multiplayer option in this game opposed to gta4.  Gta4 was fun but it would be nice to do more multiplayer stuff.

It was good, but they didn't want to play GTA afterwards... Something about give me my money so I can leave.

Who agrees with and likes the rumor that the main character may be Tommy Vercetti from Vice City years later? I know I am crossing my fingers that it is! :2thumbsup: If his character is the main dude in V, that just may possibly make this as good if not better than Vice City, imo. And not just because I really liked his character but because of the story as well.
