Is Half Life 3 on the horizon?

So, a lot of people are talking about a recent an upcoming spread in PC magazine that hints at Half Life 3.

I noticed a massive update to HL2 when I decided to play it on a whim last night, but something went wrong with the update and I never had a chance to play. According to internet sources (so reliable!) it was just a language pack.

Put on your Valve registered tin foil, and DISCUSS!

When it drops I plan to take a few days off to play HL1-HL3 completely through.

I am planning a pretty serious build of a new PC when I get back from Europe this fall, I hope I can break it in with some HL3 action.
