Me too. God bless the first Red Faction, giving unto the world a new way to tunnel under your enemy.
With rockets.

Nice...now which system should I get it for? I am thinking PC.

Nice...now which system should I get it for? I am thinking PC.
As if there is any other system. I am just curious to the requirements.
-
Minimum requirements: What you're running now.
Recommended Specs: Everything you can't afford to upgrade with to make our game look better than Modern Warefare 2.
-
system requirements shouldnt be too demanding since they are making it for the consoles as well. I would think most of us can run the darn thing pretty good!
-
Agreed, but sometimes there are games that suffer when it comes to ports. For example, FEAR2. You can tell it's a console game, despite FEAR1 being a pc game. It's still a really good game, but it wasn't all it could've been.
-
yea thats true like GTA4 ran worse on the pc. I think this game is being designed from the ground up for PC though.
-
Games designed for consoles were designed with specific hardware in mind. Consoles have hardware dedicated to certain functions and developers know exactly what they are developing for. PC games that were ported run into different configurations which is usually the culprit of degraded performance.

I wish game devs would stop downgrading graphics to cater to the console market. I wanna see that game that knocks our soxs off in graphics. I mean as it is a 8800 or greater will run anything on the market. That card is going on 2 years isnt it? I havent seen games come out yet that really gives PC Gamers the reason to upgrade TBH which I'm sure is hurting Nvidia and ATI's pockets. The video game market is only as good as the games they cater too right? IDK just some food for thought.
Abuse this post; I didnt put a lot of thought into it

Hell's yeah! I am still running my 8800GT!!! Take that!
-
Me too! Two of as a matter of fact. And I personally hope that I do not have to upgrade for a long long time. Although I know that day will come eventually.
-
8800gtx and i'm running wonderfully. It doesn't matter what's come out for a while. Still with my triplehead, too. The only game that can still crush it at my ultra-high rez is Crysis. The only problem is that I have to run with an older set of drivers to use all 3 of my lcd's, but that hardly stops me from playing things.
The next card I'm getting is going to be a DX11 card, provided that the new AvP supports it. I honestly do plan my upgrades around certain games or any overwhelming need at the time, like when I pretty much HAD to upgrade from my Athlon700 to a simple, yet effective AthlonXP 2000+. I suppose it would be nice to dump the money I spend on consoles into killer gaming rigs, but some of those damn console games are just too sweet to pass up.
-
I am just waiting for the day they stop with the PC gaming and make a console with a keyboard and mouse... Then I will cry.
-
You mean......... this?

(I knew that type of thing was out and I know it's not a console WITH a keyboard and mouse, but it's the best I could do.)
-
I had one of those(or something just like it). Yeah, it did not work as I expected it. In the bin of 'useless electronics' now.
