Title: FITES Game Night, Friday 21 June!
Post by: MahoneyRed on June 18, 2013, 04:17:47 PM: Everyone, we're announcing another FITES Game Night! In an attempt to break into some new ground we're going to try a new game, DOTA 2. If you don't have a copy yet be sure to message me (here or on Steam) and I will be sure to send you a key. (Seriously, there are enough free keys floating around we could probably supply one to every person at the LAN.)

If you are new to DOTA 2 it would help to look into some strategy guides (http://"http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL24EB71B773DFB306"). LoL players will feel right at home, but don't be discouraged by the learning curve.

In case you are not interested we'll also have staff and other players on hand to play some L4D2 (http://"http://store.steampowered.com/app/550/?snr=1_7_15__13") or Killing Floor (http://"http://store.steampowered.com/app/1250/").

We're trying a new plan of picking three games, but focusing on one. This way we can let people know what to have installed.

Let us know if you'll be on that night, and be sure to share our post (http://"https://www.facebook.com/FITESLAN/posts/10151409007326213") about it with your Facebook friends! Let's max out the load capacity of the team Speak server and smoke check the modem it's attached to :)

I can tell you for sure that if anyone wants to play the free to play Super Monday Night Combat, that one will be on the list. I might be putting up a vote, so be sure to check back at the forums.
