The "Surfacescapes" team at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University has created a proof-of-concept demonstration using Microsoft's Surface technology and the tabletop version of Dungeons and Dragons. The 3:24 video shows how the idea works by using virtual dice, scalable maps, and physical miniatures.

theres a center button somewhere in the toolbar for it. I could never find it either.

See, but Dave, yours were because you had really long single lines. Decepticon's issue was the video embedding plugin gave him no choice to how wide the video was. So, I found an update for the plugin and set the max width to 450.

These guys are at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, not too far away. Perhaps we give them a personal invite to a certain event we have coming up in the near future?
