Aliens vs Predator: Alien Gameplay Reveal Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nq7EPuSnG5M#)

Yup, DX11 is confirmed for it.

This the co-op game?

Using the word movie really gave me the wrong idea. Cause i thought it looked like poop for a anime movie.
I don't remember the last AVP game (on PC 1999 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aliens_versus_Predator_(computer_game)) and 2001 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_vs._Predator_(video_game)))being that great. Call me old fashioned, but the greatest AVP game was in the Arcade (http://gngseries.retrogames.com/avp/avpemulation.htm).

The original AVP game on the PC was amazing. Crazy scary (when playing the human). With incredibly dark maps and having the motion detector (movie Aliens) was incredibly creepy, especially since aliens could come from the ground, walls, ceilings, etc.
Playing the Alien was the most fun, for me personally. Going around taking out lights. Sneaking up on people while clinging to the ceiling. Great stuff.
The predator was a lot more like playing Crysis, where you are this powerful guy with all these cool gadgets.
Somehow, the AVP2 game (for me) was less scary and lost the elements i loved from the original. I would still play the original, but unlike Blizzard, they haven't released a patch for it in a long long time, and the game is really messed up on a modern system, though i think there are some 3rd party fixes.

Yeah the first AVP game was downright awesome.

Yeah, so here's a bit of nasty info to Kotaku today.

damn! that really sux! Whats wrong with thes developers? there must be something going on behind the scenes. Like maybe they plan to charge extra for a feature thats gonna be forced on us through multiplayer:(
-
Hmm sounds familiar...like the xbox360/Microsoft DLC model. Which will bring down publishers who implement this as a standard for future releases. Instead of milking a stale release (which these will become after a period of time) they should be working on future better releases.

All I have to say is...
Nooooo! You bastard! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWUP5QxdwPg#)

I would've gone for more of a "You blew it all up!" angle, but props because you got the car with the un-flying wings in this topic.
I still may buy this. With AvP, I go for the story and the spooky and tense moments... but I'll tempted not to depending how how this all pans out.

Ahhh, the developers have just announced that AVP game does in fact have dedicated servers. I guess they are gonna learn from IW's mistakes.
-
Yup. Confirmed.

All that's left now is for Carmack to release Rage and say, "Just kidding!"
