Old School Gaming?

I was wondering if anybody was interested in some old school DOS for this upcoming LAN party.

DosBox has build-in TCP/IP to IPX tunneling. I can setup per-configured Dosbox batch files and host a shared folder for the old games.

I was thinking doing some Doom classic, Heretic, Duke Nukem 3d, maybe Quake I.

With doom (at least) there are win32 apps for that that actually include tcp/ip network play functionality.  I believe there are also win32 apps for all of those except heretic.

With Duke I think there might be IP based network play with the highres pack or was it eDuke.
Hell yeah I'd be up for some duke nukem action.

DOSBox has some NICE support for tunnelling IPX through TCP/IP LAN.

You can play classics like M.A.X. through it. ;)

A lot of these games are getting modern open source ports, usually with improved graphics and full multiplayer support. Try your hand at some of these:
